Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets.
-Amos 3:7
"Great temporal and spiritual strength
flows from following those who have the keys
of the kingdom of God in our time"
-James E. Faust
King Benjamin gave us five items of counsel that will help us apply the words of the prophet in our life. These items sre found in chapters 2-5 of Mosiah.
1. "open your ears that ye may hear"
2. open "your hearts that ye may understand"
3. we need to open our minds "that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to view"
4. remember the words that have been taught
5. found in Mosiah 4:10 "and now, if you believe all these things see that ye do them"
~ Read the account of King Benjamin's address in Mosiah 2 and focus on verses 5-6.
